De VNC heeft met easyJet een compensatie voor misgelopen commissie bij cabinecollega’s weten te regelen. Alle AMS cabin crew ontvangen een goodwill betaling van €100,- (bruto) voor mei en april. Dit totaal van €200,- (bruto) zal worden uitbetaald bij het salaris van juni.

Als gevolg van ontoereikende cateringvoorraden en de wijziging in leverancier was het voor cabinecollega’s moeilijk om passagiers een optimale ervaring aan boord te bieden. Daarnaast hebben deze perikelen rondom de catering ook financiële consequenties gehad, in de zin van misgelopen commissie bij cabinepersoneel.

easyJet erkent dat de overstap naar een nieuw cateringbedrijf niet zonder uitdagingen is geweest en wil haar dank tonen voor al jullie harde werk en de getoonde veerkracht. Naast de financiële compensatie gaat het bedrijf zich inzetten voor verbetering op het vlak van catering.

The VNC and easyJet have reached an agreement on compensation for lost commission

In the last few months cabin crew have been experiencing low catering stock on board due to the change of catering providers, making it hard to provide an optimal enjoyable experience for their passengers. This has also affected them financially and the VNC reached out to easyJet to come to a resolution on this matter.

easyJet has acknowledged that the change in catering providers has not been without challenges and they want to show thanks for all your hard work and resilience. Therefore all AMS cabin crew will receive a goodwill payment of € 100 for May and April. A total of € 200 (gross) will be paid in your June pay.

easyJet has also stated that they are committed to improving the current catering situation. The VNC is happy with this outcome for our members and we are looking forward to the improvements in the following weeks.
