VNC ALV unaniem akkoord met oprichting easyJet sectie

Tijdens de ALV van 21 juni zijn de leden unaniem akkoord gegaan met de oprichting van een nieuwe easyJet sectie! Naast transavia, KLM, TUI fly en KLM Cityhopper is easyJet de vijfde luchtvaartmaatschappij die de VNC officieel zal gaan vertegenwoordigen.

Nieuw sectiebestuur
Op 17, 18 en 19 juli zullen de eerste easyJet ledenvergadering gehouden worden waar een nieuw easyJet sectiebestuur gekozen zal worden. Kandidaten hiervoor zijn Ron Sneijder, Patrick La Lau en Davy Haverhals. Meer informatie omtrent de kandidaten volgt spoedig.

VNC bestuur

Great news!
On the 21st of June, easyJet cabin-crew members Davy Haverhals (also a member of easyJet's Works Council), Ron Sneijder and Patrick la Lau attended the Annual General Meeting of the VNC Dutch Cabin Crew Union at the IBIS hotel, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Recognition
One of the Motions on the agenda was a vote to recognise the new "easyJet Union Section" at the VNC. The vote was passed with unanimous approval! This means that cabin crew at easyJet are now officially represented and protected by the VNC and that we will start employment contract negotiations soon.

Elections
We will now be able to hold elections on the 17th,18th and 19th of July, for Amsterdam Base to elect their official Representatives. Keep in mind that you will only able to vote if you are a member of the VNC and based in Amsterdam.

Please note: We appreciate that most of you do not speak Dutch, so we will strive to publish all our publications in both the English and the Dutch languages.
