Dan kunnen wij jou voordragen voor de Ondernemingsraad (OR) verkiezingen, die lopen van 31 mei tot en met 4 juni 2021. Er staan maar liefst 5 zetels voor cabinepersoneel in de OR open.

Leden van de Ondernemingsraad vertegenwoordigen de verschillende functiegroepen bij easyJet (cabine- cockpit- en grondpersoneel), behartigen de belangen van hun collega’s en kijken mee in de bedrijfsvoering.

Brede blik op bedrijfsvoering
Als ondernemingsraadslid overleg je regelmatig met de easyJet bedrijfsleiding over de arbeidsomstandigheden en over strategische beslissingen. De OR maakt zich sterk voor een bedrijfsbreed sociaal personeelsbeleid, veiligheid, gezondheid, welzijn en re-integratie. Dat vereist een brede blik en daarnaast kijken de OR cabineleden namens de VNC in het bijzonder naar de impact van bovenstaande onderwerpen op de easyJet cabinecollega’s. Zij werken binnen de verschillende arbeidsvoorwaardelijke kaders en bewaken de naleving daarvan, maar zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor het maken van die arbeidsvoorwaardelijke afspraken, dat is het werk van de easyJet sectiebestuurders.

Wat hebben we nodig van je?
OR kandidaten dienen minstens 1 jaar aaneengesloten bij easyJet basis Amsterdam in dienst te zijn.

Reminder: candidates wanted for the easyJet Works Council – final date of application extended until 26th of March

The election for the Works Council (OR) for the easyJet section is coming up. VNC is looking for members that would like to apply as a candidate. There are 5 seats available for cabin crew in the OR. If you're interested, please apply before Friday 26-3-2021. The actual elections for the Works Council will be held from May 31st – June 4th 2021.

Members of the Works Council are colleagues that are committed to the wellbeing of their colleagues and for this purpose monitor easyJet business management. They represent the different groups of functions within easyJet (cabin crew, cockpit crew and ground staff), have a monthly meet up with the Amsterdam management to discuss labour conditions and strategic decisions that are important for the easyJet Amsterdam base. The Works Council is committed to a company-wide social personnel policy, health, safety, wellbeing and reintegration. That demands a broad view of all Council members, but the members that act on behalf of cabin crew and VNC must obviously have a special interest in the impact of aforementioned subjects on the easyJet cabin crew. They work within the limits of the different labour agreements and guard those limits. They are however not responsible for constructing  labour agreements, that is the job of a union, like VNC.

Candidates for the Works Council must have been in service at the easyJet Amsterdam base for at least one year. Candidates must submit the following things:
