De VNC is ook op Europees gebied actief om werkomstandigheden en veiligheid aan boord en gezondheid van cabinepersoneel te beschermen. Met 8 grote Europese cabinevakbonden vormen we EurECCA (European Cabin Crew Association). Deze organisatie vraagt jullie (anonieme) medewerking aan de enquête Feeling the cabin pressure?

De vragen gaan over jouw werk aan boord en bevat belangrijke vragen aangaande de invloed van corona(maatregelen) en andere gezondheidsissues maar ook veilige arbeidsomstandigheden. Als je de survey invult, draag je bij aan een duidelijk en realistisch beeld van de werkomstandigheden van cabinepersoneel. Deze worden gebruikt om benodigde verbeteringen op Europees niveau door te voeren.

International survey ‘Feeling the cabin pressure?’

The VNC is also active on protecting labour conditions and health issues concerning cabin crew on European level. We are part of EurECCA (European Cabin Crew Association) and this organization asks your (confidential) participation with filling out this survey: Feeling the cabin pressure?

A survey on cabin crews' working condition, health, and safety is important because airline safety is rarely examined through the prism of air crew employment terms and conditions. New airline business models and most recently – the COVID-19 pandemic – have shaken the industry, profoundly reshaping crews' working environment. Karolinska Institute, a renowned research-led medical university, therefore decided to study the impact of those changes on cabin crew health, fatigue and ultimately – flight safety with the participation of EurECCA. If you are cabin crew flying for a European airline, you are encouraged to participate in this confidential Europe-wide survey.
