easyJet update about the CLA negotiations

21 dec. 2017
Hereby we would like to give you an update about the CLA negotiations via a joined statement with easyJet. As you are aware over the past months easyJet and the VNC have met to discuss a new CLA for the Amsterdam base. Although we have not yet concluded our talks, there are several meetings which are planned during January.

There has been good progress between the VNC and easyJet, and the relationship remains strong and collaborative. To date some of the things we have moved close to agreement on are sick leave and a company offered pension! The finer details of which are still being discussed.

Working very constructively
In addition talks are ongoing in regards of the basic pay issues which we know are of primary importance to you. We know that there is a lot of speculation of what is being discussed and agreed, this is not unusual during negotiations which take some months to conclude. We can only assure you that the final outcome has not yet been agreed but we are working very constructively to address the issues we have in Amsterdam. As soon as there is more information it will be communicated to you by the official channels of easyJet and the VNC.

For now, thank you all for your support.
