Gisteren (12 december) hebben we weer cao-overleg gehad waarbij easyJet nu weliswaar met een tegenvoorstel kwam, maar dit was verre van acceptabel.

We hebben heel duidelijk gemaakt aan easyJet dat er geen cao-overeenkomst zal komen als het bedrijf niet eens bereid is om in te gaan op de voor onze leden belangrijke issues.
 
6 januari vervolg
Omdat het voorstel van easyJet onvolledig is, zullen we geen details daarvan bekendmaken, ze moeten eerst met meer komen voordat er over te onderhandelen valt. Wij gaan ons in ieder geval tot uiterste inzetten voor een betere cao.
Op 6 januari staat een nieuw overleg gepland en we verwachten dan echt een tegenbod dat wel de moeite waard is om verder over te praten.
 
We waarderen jullie betrokkenheid en actiebereidheid enorm en het is goed om te weten dat - als het in de toekomst nodig zou zijn - we op jullie kunnen rekenen voor eventuele acties.

The VNC demands a better CLA offer from easyJet

Yesterday (December 12th ) we had another CLA meeting. This time easyJet did have a counter proposal, however this was nowhere near acceptable.

We have made ourselves very clear that without certain items, that the company at this stage isn’t even willing to discuss, there will be no CLA agreement and that all our members would vote against it.
 
At this stage we will not be disclosing any details of their proposal but would like to assure you again that we are extremely committed to you all and a better CLA.

Continuation on the 6th of January
We will meet with the company again on the 6th of January and hope to receive a counter offer that is worth talking about.
 
We are nowhere near industrial actions at this stage although we do really appreciate how involved and committed you are and it feels good to know that if it were to come to that we can count on you.
