Alle lof en dank aan afscheidnemend VNC voorzitter Annette Groeneveld!

Donderdag 3 juni is de laatste werkdag van VNC voorzitter Annette Groeneveld en bij deze willen wij haar ontzettend bedanken voor de enorme betrokkenheid en jarenlange, tomeloze inzet! Annette is met haar kennis, kunde, lef en doorzettingsvermogen een boegbeeld van onze vereniging en van de overkoepelende Europese cabineorganisatie EurECCA.

Dit was ons al duidelijk en vele (cabine)collega’s omschrijven Annette als duidelijk en gedreven, welbespraakt en indien nodig vlijmscherp, krachtig, zakelijk en professioneel, vasthoudend en volhardend, grote dossierkennis, sterk in analyseren en samenvatten van de kern, oplossingsgericht, voor de duvel niet bang gepaard met een vleugje humor.

Kortom Annette, je was een uitmuntend en indrukwekkend visitekaartje voor de VNC en van jouw inzet zullen wij (onze leden en het hele korps cabinepersoneel) nog lang profijt hebben. Wij mogen onszelf gelukkig prijzen dat jij je jarenlang binnen maar ook buiten de landsgrenzen (European Cabin Crew Association: EurECCA) hebt ingezet voor cabinepersoneel.
Er breekt nu een nieuwe periode aan maar jou kennende zal dat heus niet veel rustiger worden. Het aankomende voorzitterschap van Wings of Support is een goed voorbeeld van hoe gedreven jij bent en blijft. Annette, bedankt voor alles!!! We wensen jou een prachtig nieuw hoofdstuk, het ga je goed en liefst geen afscheid maar een tot ziens!

Opvolging
Het Algemeen Bestuur, bestaande uit door de leden gekozen sectiebestuurders, heeft uit hun midden Chris van Elswijk, (voorzitter KLM sectie) gekozen tot nieuwe voorzitter VNC. Donderdag zullen de Raadsleden tijdens de LR vergadering uit drie kandidaten een nieuwe sectiebestuurder kiezen zodat het KLM sectiebestuur weer op volle sterkte zal zijn.

With gratitude and thanks to departing VNC President Annette Groeneveld
 
Thursday is the last working day of VNC President Annette Groeneveld and with this we would like to thank her with her years of dedication, involvement and tireless effort!
Annette is with her knowledge, skills, guts and perseverance a figurehead of our association and of the European umbrella organization EurECCA.
 
This has been clear to us and many (cabin crew)colleagues whom describe Annette as clear and passionate, eloquent and if necessary razor-sharp, powerful, businesslike and professional, tenacious and persistent, great case knowledge, strong in analyzing and summarizing the core, solution-oriented, not afraid of the devil coupled with a touch of humor.

In short Annette, you were an excellent and impressive representative for the VNC and we (our members and the entire cabin crew) will benefit from your efforts for a long time to come. We can consider ourselves fortunate that you have been committed to cabin crew for years within but also beyond the national borders (European Cabin Crew Association: EurECCA).
A new period is now beginning, but knowing you it won't be much calmer. The upcoming chairmanship of Wings of Support is a good example of how driven you are and remain. Annette, thank you for everything!!! We wish you a wonderful new chapter, go well and preferably no goodbyes but see you soon!

Succession
The General Board, consisting of section directors elected by the members, has elected Chris van Elswijk, (chairman of the KLM section) from among their members, as the new chairman of the VNC. Thursday during the Membership (LR) meeting, the Council members will choose a new KLM boardmember from three candidates so that the KLM section board will be back to full strength.
