Aangekondigde boerenprotesten op snelwegen/luchthavens morgen

Voor morgen (maandag 4 juli) zijn grootschalige acties aangekondigd gericht op het blokkeren van - de snelwegen rondom - de grote luchthavens. Houd de berichtgeving vanuit je werkgever en het landelijke nieuws hieromtrent in de gaten. Er wordt zeer ernstige hinder verwacht om op Schiphol, en voor Transavia collega’s ook op Eindhoven en Rotterdam, te komen.

Helaas is dat het enige dat wij je kunnen adviseren, omdat niemand precies weet hoe de boerenprotesten zullen verlopen. Hoewel de Koninklijke Marechaussee er is voor de veiligheid en Defensie toezegt dat het leger zal inspringen om wegen en luchthavens te ontzetten, wordt er rekening gehouden met (zware) ongeregeldheden als de boerenprotesten uit de hand lopen.

Farmer protests announced on highways/airports tomorrow

Major industrial actions have been announced for tomorrow (Monday 4 July), aimed at blocking the highways and roads around the airports. Keep an eye on the announcements from your employer and the national news about the protests. Major disruption is expected on the routes to Schiphol. For our Transavia colleagues this is also expected on the routes to Eindhoven and Rotterdam.

Unfortunately at this time this is the only advice we can give you, as we do not know exactly which course the farmers' protests will take. The Royal Netherlands Military Constabulary will provide security and the Ministry of Defence has promised that the army will step in to clear roads and airports, if the farmers' protests get out of hand. Please be reminded that severe disturbances are expected.
